Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cooper, a 4 year old, male, Walker Hound mix, came into our foster family from South Carolina with an abundance of joy and happiness, most likely because he was overlooked, by adopters, at the shelter for over 2 years. Thus, I would describe his demeanor as somewhat shy until he gets to spend some time with you.
He absolutely Loves to be outside and playing in a fenced yard either by himself or with his animal/human friends. He does very well with other dogs and all family members, big or small.
Cooper is neutered, microchipped and fully up to date on his shots, heartworm, and flea/tick. He loves playing with toys, and is neither toy or food aggressive. He is crate trained and will even voluntarily go there for some alone time. We have yet to hear him bark although he does love peeking out of windows and doors. Cooper loves his walks and is excellent on a leash.
This dog is a gem. Don't miss out if you are looking for a friendly companion to be part of your family. He is not what I would consider a hunting dog.
