My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This young Schnoodle was found as a stray and never claimed. Scotty is between a year and 18 months old and weighs around 25 pounds. He is a sweet guy but prefers to spend most of his time hanging out alone or playing with the other dogs. He does like to be petted but is not a big cuddler. He jumps off my lap after only a few minutes to go about his business. He is not aggressive but does get snappy if you try to make him do something but he has other ideas. He doesn't make contact but he just lets you know he isn't thrilled with the situation. For that reason we would only consider an adult only home because he is a headstrong companion. But it's better to be safe than sorry. He would be a great partner for walks and does sit quietly chewing on his bones or toys. He is not a fan of the crate but he is being trained to stay in one when the foster mom is not home. Scotty is all vetted, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. His longish, wavy coat will need an occasional grooming to keep from getting tangled and matted. If you are looking for a canine companion who is not real clingy or will be much trouble, please consider making room for Scotty. He may be the one to make your life complete.
