WHY IS HE IN NEED? This your boy came in as a stray into a shelter than kills for space. He is coming into rescue.
WHERE IS HE NOW ? - He will be arriving on april 18th. He will be fully vetted.
once arriving he will settle into foster care and we will learn about what his needs are and the best type of home for him.
** ALL ABOUT SULLY **
Info shared from shelter : Looks to possibly be a dog who may have been chained. He is a beautiful and polite dog who is easy to handle. Very friendly with people and was fine with cats. Weight - 57.6 lbs - thought to be a wolfhound mix. Great dog.
Sully has arrived. He was excellent on the relay up into Ontario.
He had no issues with the various handling nor the many dogs that he met.
Update from Foster home :
Sully is completely potty trained and can wait 8 hours to go outside, (I was home at noon today but usually let dharma out around 4 because that's sometimes when I get home from work) he did fabulously no issues. He has all is basic commands and more that I am discovering. If they want to do obedience with him that's up to them but he was instantly very responsive to my commands, he is very smart and affection driven. He has a thin wirey coat that doesn't need too much attention although he loves to be brushed! As for the crate, he is not a chewer, and is respectful of my belongings, he does like to have a dog bed where I am (living) room so he can chill but still see what is going on. He will go to his bed if I tell him too. He also has a bed that he sleeps on at the foot of my bed on the floor. He is content to just lay on his bed or at my feet and chill. He is extremely affection driven, which means that anything he does he looks to me for response and he responds accordingly. For example, my dog eats grass and doesn't get sick, so yesterday sully tried some grass and looked at me and I said no. He stopped and came for affection. He is very much a dog that loves big and expects love in return.
We welcome your application for consideration once he arrives- settles- we confirm his needs and the best type of home and is ready for adoption.

*** HOW IT WORKS - ADOPTION INFORMATION ****
Please read ** ALL** the information provided below on the process to
save time and facilitate the process in a smooth manner.
The adoption fee does NOT cover the cost of vetting or supplies for these animals - If you cannot afford the adoption fee
(that is a fraction of actual REDUCED VETTING expenses incurred) then you should reconsider adopting.
These animals deserve forever homes, good food, regular vet care, and emergency care as needed.
Pets should never be euthanized by their owners simply based on financial consideration when something goes wrong.
