Here's what the humans have to say about me:
04/09/2015 MORRIS IS LUCKY TO BE ALIVE
Morris recently went through a traumatic experience. He was attacked in his own home by a Great Dane who inflicted serious bites to his neck area. He was brought to one of our favorite animal hospitals and the owners opted to give him up instead of paying for his medical treatment. Under the amazing care of the vet, Morris was treated for his wounds and neutered. Physically he has recovered completely and is now doing well. He still has a couple scabs here and there, but his injuries are otherwise healed from the attack.
Morris is now in a foster home and is starting to come out of his shell! He is an adorable 4.5 years old boy with a brindle coat and a very strong, stocky build. He is a gentle giant and absolute sweetheart. He's a little shy at first but he warms up by offering smooches and his wagging nub! He is very well trained, calm and obedient, and has sit & shake perfectly mastered! His foster mom is starting to see him become more relaxed and more playful, and she especially loves his sweet cuddles!
We feel Morris would do best as an only dog until he gains more confidence with other dogs after everything he has endured. We are not sure how he feels about cats or children, but the guess is he would be good with both. He is wonderful with people and ever so friendly! Morris is hard to resist.
