Hi, my name is Parker and I am a really, really good dog. Seriously! I was found running around the streets of Brooklyn, just looking for some fun, but after a week or so I got hungry and lonely. Thank goodness some nice police officers offered me a ride in the back of their car and took me to the shelter, because I really needed food and a place to sleep.
My foster mom saw a picture of me that the shelter posted and thought I was adorable. (I am.) She says that once she saw my "fat head" and beautiful eyes that she had to save me. Now I am a guest in her house with three other dogs and lots of friendly people! I get to sleep in a cool bed, eat delicious treats and there is always someone to hug me and kiss my head (which, by the way, is NOT fat).
I really love going for walks, playing fetch with tennis balls, and getting attention. I am really good with other dogs, and even when they are a little bossy with me I just turn away and hide for a bit. (Stupid bossy dogs). I am housebroken and I have a great appetite. I can sit and shake (both paws!) and I am very affectionate. Although I love to romp in the yard, I also love just falling asleep on my foster mom's lap while she watches TV.
I am about 4 years old, 50 pounds, up to date on all my shots, neutered, heart worm negative, and micro-chipped. I love kids and adults, and I am very well mannered. I know there is someone out there that totally deserves an awesome dog like me! Fill out an application or come to one of our adoption events, so I can show you just how wonderful I am!
