My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Fynnigan and I am around 1 year old. My foster mom told me I was a Black Mouth Cur mix, which is only her best guess based off pictures. I didn't have a great start to life and lived a good portion of it in a shelter where I was scared and didn't get to meet many people. I sometimes get too nervous in public and feel like people are going to hurt me. When I get too nervous I tend to bark and growl in order to protect myself. My foster mom has been working with me and I am starting to gain more confidence in myself. At my foster moms house I have no problem meeting people and I enjoy my freedom in the home. My favorite activities include: running, playing with other dogs (no small dogs because I get to nervous playing with them), going on walks, and snuggling on the coach with my foster family. I have been around cats and I do like to chase them until they get mad and claw at my face; then I just back off because it isn't fun anymore. I would do best in a home with older kids and an active family willing to continue to socialize me with everyone. I really want to be more confident and be able to not be nervous around people in strange places. Please considering adopting me and opening your home to a rescue dog.
