Scarlett’s adapting well to life at her foster home. She’s thoroughly enjoying her frisbees and tennis balls, catches them like a competition pro and brings them right back to you. She also loves a nice walk, even when it’s cold and rainy. In fact, when she is really eager to go out, she’ll fetch your shoes! Scarlett is partial to head scratches and body rubs and she’ll beg for attention for hours if you let her. Scarlett jumps on people because she’s so excited to hang out with you, but we’re teaching her to sit quietly, instead. She’ll also try to lick you all over enthusiastically. This sweet girl is sometimes nervous and barks when she gets close to people she doesn’t know, so we are working with her on meeting new people and responding appropriately. This beautiful border collie mix enjoys running and playing more than anything, so if you love to run, hike or bike, she would make an adorable companion for your daily workout.

Say hello to Miss Scarlett! She’s a beautiful 1 1/2 year old, 55-lb border collie mix who is always on the go. She’s got lovely golden-hazel eyes and a luxurious tail. She just loves her pink frisbee and can’t wait to get outside and play. Scarlett is very smart, and knows sit, stay, come, shake, drop it and down. Recommended for a family with children over 12 years old, as she’s very enthusiastic and loves to jump on people (something we’re working on). She loves riding in the car, will follow you wherever you are and is always up for a walk. Scarlett is very active and recommended for a family that loves spending time outdoors running and playing with her.
