Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stormy is looking for a foster home. Can you help?
Stormy is a 3 year old blue female with natural ears. She is back in rescue after being adopted out and living in a home with a woman and small male maltese. She was living there almost 2 weeks and all was well. The following day the owner let Stormy and her male outside and Stormy initiated play. They started running around in circles and when the circles got smaller the male got frightened and stopped and started barking at Stormy. She reached over and picked him up by the neck and just held him. The adopter said it wasn't aggressive and she didn't shake him, it was almost maternal, like a mother dog would pick up her puppy. She went over and told her No and took her dog. Stormy just stood there she never tried to jump up nor did she hurt him. This frightened the adopter so she decided to return her. She's back up in our boarding facility and we haven't seen any issues with her with little dogs. She doesn't mind dogs male or female that she see’s through the fence, either big or small. She not a player with toys that we have seen. She likes to smell around the yard and really enjoys running in the yard. Stormy loves to get hugs and will snuggle with you, she does the typical Dane lean while you're giving her attention and likes to be where you are--she like to be with people. Stormy walks well on a leash and loves the car, is house trained, likes her baths, loves her food and expects her cookies before going to bed.
