Elmer is all puppy legs and puppy kisses, wanting to run laps around the yard, then sliding up to us for hugs and affirmation. Elmer is perhaps part lab – he is about 7 months old now and weighs 45 pounds, so he will be a good sized dog. Elmer has that happy, loving puppy disposition, keeps his area clean, and is learning some basic manners. Elmer is quite food motivated, so it is easy to work with him.
