My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You know that story “The Princess and the Pea”? That was actually written about me, Addie. I am the princess connoisseur of beds and all things soft and comfy. I am also an avid collector of toys and shoes and an excellent gardener. Digging is one of my hobbies, and I am very good at it!
It took some time to find a decent bed at my foster home—one has foam cushioning (too much bounce), another has a faux fur cover (clashes with my coat) and the last one seemed to be scented with Eau de Lavender (I prefer rose hips). Finally, in desperation for a good nap, I made a super-leap onto the human bed and found the very perfect place. In a pinch I can make do with a nice lap or the sofa, too!
While I’m particular about my napping spots, I look darling in any bed, with my super relaxed tummy-up sleeping sprawl and my glossy white and reddish-tan coat. As if that’s not enough, I even have black freckles on my nose. When awake, I'm always wagging my tail and will say hi to anyone. The humans tell me that I am an adorable small package, but I love to play with the big dogs, and I play HARD! I can be an energetic and silly puppy, but put me in your arms and I'll likely drift into a blissful nap. You see, I've got quite the yin and yang balance through my bouncy, playful side and my relaxed, quiet side.
I’m looking to move out of this joint into a home that has at minimum one deliciously warm and cozy bed for me (preferably yours!) I would love to have a canine playmate and will happily share attention, and perhaps space on the bed. I like those strange creatures the humans call “cats” quite a bit. Although the one that lives in my foster home doesn’t really want to play or have anything to do with me, I still politely ask.
Do you think you might have a perfect bed for me? Please contact my foster family through Unidos para los Animales for more information about me. They tell me that they have a very complete file with lots and lots of information about how great I
