Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

About DAISY MAE (WH)
Meet Daisy Mae. She is a special little pup. Why? Well, it may be the unique color palate of a heeler and beagle mix, it might be the blaze on her forehead, it might be the innocent look on her face that belies a lot of mischief or it might be the crook in her tail, possibly the result of birth trauma. At any rate, a dog with unusual and beautiful markings mixed with a great personality!.
This little tri color, spotted puppy is 11 weeks old and weighs almost 13 pounds as of 2-14-15. She is a friendly little pup and is usually the first to run out of the litter to make your acquaintance. We think she will be a medium to large size adult dog.
We love her coat of many colors, but we really love her exuberance for life. She and her siblings were surrendered to a rural shelter when the family realized they could not care for a whole litter of puppies. (Can we preach spay/neuter?). This little mischievous puppy and her siblings were brought into private foster homes where they are loved and learning the ropes of home life.
What is her breed mix? Well, that is a mystery, for sure. Does Daisy Mae care one whit about that? No sir. She is just a fun loving puppy hoping for a wonderful forever home. Like all energetic puppies, she will benefit from basic obedience training and, being the smart little girl she is, we suspect that she will graduate with honors.
Because she has so much adorable puppy energy, her new family should have a fenced yard and children should be older. Energetic puppies and toddlers are not typically a good match.
If you have fallen in love with Daisy Mae and would like to make her part of your family, email warmhearts@earthlink.net for an application. That is the first step in the process. Daisy Mae is vetted and microchipped. Her adoption/vetting fee is $150.00.
