Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Franky. He was found by a passerby at a rest stop in the valley, scared, alone, covered in fleas and starving. He was terrified and it took a lot of coaxing and treats to lure him our from under a walkway. This kind person put Frankie in her car and took him to a local vet to scan for a chip and then to the shelter to see if someone was missing this little guy, but no reports and no chip.We were contacted and are happy that we get the privilege to help this little youngster learn to trust and on his way to a new life and loving home.
Frankie has experienced trauma in his young life. We think he is just around a year old. He is wary around new people and it takes a little bit of time for him to feel that he can trust you. He does not like to be held against his will but if he learns you are OK, he will happily cuddle and give you kisses. We think that Frankie needs some Positive Reinforcement Training classes and are looking into getting him enrolled right away. He is potty trained, and is great around the other foster dogs in his home, but we would be cautious with him around very, small children.
Our jobs are never easy, but they are rewarding. Of course, in a perfect world all pets would receive the love, care and reassurance these innocents deserve and “rescue” would not be needed. But we are needed. We are grateful to have the responsibility to help “rescue pugs” and provide the loving care they need – sometimes that is emotional. It is our job to insure that level of love and care we provide, will continue for the rest of their lives.
So, If you a person or family that is looking to make a difference for a pug and have time and patience and are willing to continue the level of care this little guy needs to become a confident, little pug, Let us know. Frankie needs you.
