My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poseiden is a sweet 1 year old male great dane. This big guy has had it rough. He was recently sold on cragislist, after having been sold on cragislist only 9 months before that. He comes to us with what was labeled a skin condition but is actually untreated Demodex Mange. He is now undergoing treatment and this pain and discomfort should soon be rectified. His ears are uniquiely floppy as he was cropped, but his ears were never taped.

It is so often that families tell us that they don't want to surrender to rescue, they want to re-home themselves and unfortunately the results are often what this little guy has endured. No dog should have to suffer through untreated mange. These photos are after a treatment bath and several medications. We have promised this guy that he only has upwards to go from here. No more pain and bouncing around. He will be forever home in his next family.
