Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reynie is an honest mare that loves attention, she absolutely loves people and wants to be with them. She will whinny to you, nuzzle you and follow you around. She is not spoiled and is very respectful on the ground and under saddle.
She was ridden through auction and purchased as a rescue on March of 2014, then turned out on 20 acres with a herd of horses where she became part of the herd. She falls on the lower end of the herd but gets along well with other horses. November of 2014 she started professional training and is currently finishing her 4th month. We believe she use to be a show horse, possibly in the field of gaming.
She is a dance partner when it comes to ground work. Under saddle has a lovely moving out walk, a very comfortable sitting or posting trot and we are working on a more balanced canter.
On the trail she is fine front or back, solo or with company. If solo, at first she is a little worried leaving the herd but with some reassurance she will soon settle and is showing us she is a seasoned trail horse, just let her have her head and she will move out at a nice comfortable walk. Crosses water with no problems and is mindful of where she puts her feet.
Ridden both english or western. She has a nice comfortable sitting trot. Knows seat and leg aids and will stop off your seat.
She does need a confident, balanced rider, with independent hands. She is not a beginners horse, but an intermediate or experienced rider could have a lot of fun with her.
Asking $1500 with adoption contract.
