Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Do you believe in magic? I’d love to be the one to bring enchantment into your life. I’ve been blessed with a second chance and could bring that to you. *I’ll whisper my secret only once and you’ll never hear this again, my name used to be Mutley.* Now transformed and renamed Merlin, because my foster mom saw my magical personality. She saw that I was no run of the mill Catahoula Leopard Dog that could only sparkle in the sunshine; she also saw what an amazing disposition I poses. Unfortunately, my previous family was unable to keep me due to no fault of their own. Honestly, those 2 years were good and I know I was loved. We did many wonderful family things together like walk on leashes and learn manners. Whatever else was in my past, well I’m a true southern gentleman, so I’ll never tell. I will say this, I love to ride in cars and like the best magicians I’ve saved the best for last…..I find water irresistible.
If you find yourself wanting to be part of my fairy-tale ending call Jackie at 252-649-5504 or Penny at 252-249-1453. Paws have adoption applications available for downloading at pamlicopaws.net or send an email to mail@pamlicopaws.net. Don’t wait too long, because I can quickly disappear.
All NLOL dogs are fully vetted, altered, house and crate trained. They spend 8 weeks in the Pamlico County Correctional Facility learning manners, some obedience and agility. Adopting families will be able to attend the dog's graduation on May 6th.
