My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello all - Meet Nico. Nico is a 5 year old Japanese Chin. When he came to us he was quite overweight and while still a chunky 23 pounds, his foster parents are doing well in helping him to lose weight.

He loves to be petted and have his belly rubbed. He barks only when you come home and put your key in the door or when he’s talking with the other dogs in the neighborhood. Nico loves to run and play outside, so a fenced yard is a must. He loves his squeak and pull toys. He’s a snuggle bundle of joy and will happily lie near you on the sofa. Nico is crate trained for the night, but also does well if he had no crate. Nico is potty trained and will come to get you or look out the back door when he needs to go out. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and has received a dental. Nico gets along great with kids, dogs and cats. He will make a great family addition.
