Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Riva is currently about 11 months old, Lab Mix, spayed female, 38 to 40 lbs.
Background: Riva was dumped in a Storm Drain with her brother in Taiwan when she was only 1-2 months old. One of the local university students saw her and rescued her. Riva was in a terrible terrible shape. Her skin was completely infected and covered with fungus. The student took Riva in, took a great care of her, nurtured her to 100% healthy and trained her. However, this Student is graduating from the university and she is moving back to her hometown. She could not keep Riva. She turned to our rescue group for help and hoping to find Riva a great home in the US.
Riva passed quarantine, had all of vaccinations and health checked. She is healthy and a great puppy. Riva is potty-trained, crate-trained, doesn't chew, doesn't whine, doesn't have any separation issues and understand some basic English commands, like sit, no and shake.
Personality: Riva is shy and timid at first. It will take a couple of days to get her used to a new environment. Once Riva gets used to you, she would follow you everywhere. She loves to be petted, loves to sit next to you, she is very affectionate and she just wants to cuddle and lick your face. Riva does better in a home with another dog. She loves loves loves playing with other dogs. She would go up to any dogs and kiss their face. When she encounters some dogs that do not appreciate her kisses, she would lay on her back, belly up, and immediately submit to the other dog. She is a great playmate for any dogs. Riva also loves people (man/woman/children). She is very smart and learns quickly. She is a great dog.
Here are some videos of Riva, I also attached lots of photos.
