Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jingles – 10 years old, 7-1/2 pounds
Please meet Jingles, one of the sweetest, most well-behaved little boys we’ve fostered. Jingles is a handsome, youthful 10-yr-old Yorkie male weighing 7-1/2 pounds. He has recently undergone a successful health check, neutering, and has had all vaccinations, a heartworm test, and a dental. Jingles was reluctantly surrendered to the Rescue when his owner moved into Assisted Living and other family members were unable to keep him. This little guy is absolutely amazing! He’s housebroken – he will faithfully go to the door to let you know he needs to go out, immediately “gets down to business,” and will bark when ready to come back inside. He proudly trots like a little show dog when walking on leash, rides calmly and quietly in the car, and doesn’t mind being crated or confined for short periods if necessary. He has interacted very well with our three dogs during fostering, and loves to bask in the sun and explore in the yard. The surrendering family indicated he is also friendly with cats and children; however, he has not been around either while in our care, so we can’t confirm this. He should do equally well with an individual or a family (older children preferred), in a small apartment or a large home, and with any size yard. It took us a day or two to realize Jingles is slightly hearing-impaired, but this hasn’t stopped his ability to function in any way! He anxiously follows our other dogs wherever they go, so he has quickly learned the household routine just by watching them. Happy-go-lucky and eager to please at all times, Jingles has been loving, cuddly, and friendly with everyone he meets. While he most enjoys lap time with you, he is equally content to entertain himself with a toy, a chew-bone, or a nap on the couch if you’re busy. If you’re looking for a mellow, sweet, well-behaved, loving little companion, Jingles may be the perfect addition to your household.
