LEROY IS CURRENTLY BEING HOMED IN THE DES MOINES METRO AREA
Hey everyone it's me Leroy.....and I made the long haul to IA this weekend from a humane society in southern KS. And everyone I met along the way said I am a great boy!!!! I was adopted through that Humane Society and returned by no fault of my own. That family told this great rescue I growled at the children, but the family can't tell the rescue what that child did to me first. So I am being re-kid tested this weekend (of course monitored), but for right now the rescue thinks it would be great if I go to a home with older children, say over 6, who won't use me as their bean bag. I have gotten to meet the fluff balls my food-slaves call "kitties" and I find them to be the most interesting creatures I have ever met. Who needs all that fur to survive? I LOVE to chase the kitties, it's sooo fun!! So of course my food-slaves say I need a little positive reinforcement in any home I go to not to chase the kitties, and I listen well :0) I am house trained, what dignified gentleman isn't. And the best part about my personality, I LOVE to use my gorgeous Basset voice (check out picture #3 above). I'll let you know if I have anything to say, but be assured it is not an annoying voice, I'm just a ham. I am 1-2 yrs old, UTD on all vaccinations, altered and HW- and on monthly preventative.
