Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harold has been with us a couple years and really needs a patient soul to adopt him.
We could say he is skittish, nervous, cautious, doesn't like to be touched. Why sugar coat it? Harold is semi-feral. He isn't a biter, hisser, growler or a scratcher. He just doesn't warm up to people. He's one of those cats you see out of the corner of your eye, hanging in the background until the humans leave.
Harold came into our group with feral siblings, and when the rest of his group was welcomed to a farm, Harold was left behind because he was long haired. The farmer didn't want that. Poor Harold has been stuck since - never really fitting in to the "pet" world.
Harold gets along GREAT with other cats. He uses his box religiously, doesn't cause trouble, quiet, always observing. He's a great cat! He just doesn't want to be touched. He really isn't a problem cat at all. You just need to plan ahead for vet visits and getting him into a crate.
We're not saying this all won't change with the right person in his life. Just up until now he's been overlooked. And really the heart tugging part of this is that Harold WANTS to be pet, and brushed, and loved. He just isn't able to get past his fear.
Someone out there has a home for Harold. We need to find you!
Harold is neutered and current on vaccinations.
