My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow is an adorable little 4 pound yorkie. He is about 3 or 4 years old and is being fostered in Bunnell, FL.

Initial Bio 3/11/15 Shadow was rescued from from a hoarding situation from a backyard breeder and brought to a shelter where he contacted kennel cough. He was in horrible shape, severely matted, flea infested, teeth missing, dripping crusty eyes, and filthy. He was adopted by a wonderful person who ended up not being unable to care for him and he was surrendered to United Yorkie Rescue.

Shadow is very sweet and loving and just wants to be loved. He will need to be neutered. Shadow will need to gain about a pound, he is too thin at his weight right now.

Shadow will need some lessons in house training and leash walking, but he is so sweet he just wants to please, so he will learn fast to win his owner's praise.

Shadow will need to stay in his foster home until the kennel cough has been treated and he has had a dental, but we are taking applications for him. Because of his small size Shadow cannot go to a home with children under 14 years old.

Shadow is brand new today so watch for an update on him as his foster mom gets to know him better.
