Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luca, Maximillian and Tristan are 3 male puppies from the same litter. Their Mom is an adorable sweet natured Chihuahua (12lbs) rescued from the streets of the Fifth Ward in Houston just 3 weeks before she gave birth on the 22nd December. Dad is unknown.
The puppies have been around children and other dogs and are very sociable. They are puppy pad trained in the area they sleep in at night and seek out the pee pads when playing in the house. Potty training does need more work as they are still babies. They are still in the teething phase but if kept occupied with a variety of chew toys, rather than toes, it seems to work well!
Maximillian (white and brown) and Luca (brown) are currently between 5lbs and 6lbs at 12 weeks old. They love to play and sleep together, are best friends, and in an ideal world could find a forever home together. They are very sweet, playful, smart and quick learners. Maximilian is the happy talker whereas Luca prefers to let his constantly wagging tail and body show his joy. They are curious, fearless, fun little dogs who adore tummy rubs (especially Luca) and back scratches. In return you will be rewarded with lots of puppy kisses.
Tristan (Tri-color) is a very special, sweet, shy little boy who just wants to be loved and held close. He is more of a typical chihuahua, a little shaky and nervous, he was the smallest of the litter and is not as confident yet as his bigger brothers, he stands back to let them explore first before following suit. He is only 4lbs and sometimes they are a little too rough for him but he tries to join in. Tristan would be happy to be carried all day or snuggle in your lap, he would be a great companion for someone who can give him lots of attention or someone has another small and calm dog to keep him company.
They are all up to date on vaccines and are scheduled for their neuter appointments. We would like them to be placed in loving homes where they will get lots of attention (love), time and care. It’s a life they deserve after such a rocky start. If you are interested in learning more about these special babies please fill out an adoption application at http://forgottendogs.org/adoption_application.html or contact their foster Mom at cameobua@gmail. Thank You!
