This good-looking guy with the big brown eyes is Zeke! Born around the beginning of May 2014, he's neutered, current on his vaccinations, microchipped, house trained & crate trained and doesn't mind hanging out in his crate. He gets along very well with dogs, is great with kids and should not be around cats. He likes all people but tends to prefer females over males.
Zeke is a sweet boy who loves spending time with his Foster Mom! He's a Momma's Boy and very shy when she's not around. He loves following her around the house, is always by her side and if she leaves the room he'll cry and try to find her! He sleeps in his crate at night and is thrilled when his Foster Parents let him sleep with them occasionally. Snuggling is one of his favorite activities and he loves to give kisses! He's a very soft snuggle buddy who's fun to curl up with and nap or watch tv! He craves love & attention and with those big brown eyes and sweet face, it's almost impossible not to give it to him!
Surprisingly, Zeke didn't show an interest in toys when he was rescued and first arrived at his Foster Home but he recently started playing with a rope toy and loved it! Now he's all about toys and even does zoomies with them in his mouth! We're so happy to see him playing and having fun! He still has a lot of puppy energy and likes to chew things so chewable toys would be best for him to have so he doesn't chew things he's not supposed to chew. Zeke likes hanging out with his Foster Family's young daughters and behaves very well with them, and he loves playing with dogs! He's a goofy guy who makes his Foster Family laugh with his silly antics and he has a tendency to snore loudly at times, which you can't help but laugh at if you're nearby!
A smart guy, Zeke has been learning commands since he arrived at his Foster Home and is catching on nicely. He knows the commands Sit, Drop, Shake, Kennel and Come! He loves treats and does well learning with treats as rewards. When he has to go potty, he was taught to stand at a specific door, which he does. He doesn't like his leash but he's working on it, and he loves going for runs with his Foster Mom! He also enjoys going for car rides and is a good boy in the car!
Zeke was skittish and easily scared after he was rescued but his Foster Family has been working with him and he's doing so well! He's still shy when he meets people and gets nervous going to new places but after he gets used to it, he warms up. He'd be happy with a Family or Person who understands that and doesn't try to force him into crowded situations as he's most comfortable and happy at home.
