Hi, I'm Arthur! I am a very happy 4 month old Dachshund . My foster family has two kids and two big dogs and I love them all! I am gentle, sweet, smart, and lots of fun. I am pretty active and just love going out for walks and playing in the park. I need a leash right now because everything is new and exciting, but I don't pull and I never wander too far away. I love chasing balls and sticks, and having lots of chew toys at home. I am still teething but I do not chew furniture, baseboards, shoes or anything else my foster family doesn't allow. I sometimes have a tough time holding it but I am mostly house trained. Don't forget that I'm still just a puppy so my bladder isn't quite full size yet. I will do anything for a treat - especially carrots, cucumber, or lettuce - or your praise. I don't like raised voices, they scare me a lot. I love people so very much. I like to sleep with my foster brother and sister at night, and I love to play with them after school too. I like to nap on laps or even cuddle in with the other dogs, just so I'm not alone. I do not use a crate because I am very well trained when left alone...although I might cry or even bark when you first leave. Generally I don't make any noise, which my foster mom says is a great thing. Yay! I love to have fun and I'd really love to have my own fur-ever family to enjoy this beautiful weather with.
