Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ladies and Gentleman, our dear Nina is now available for adoption!! Who will the lucky family be???
Nina is a 2-3 year old, spayed female, Chihuahua/Terrier Blend. (Our best guess!) She is small-medium sized and weighs around 23 lbs. Nina is house trained, and is fine left to free roam when her family is gone. She has a doggie door now and loves to run in and out with her temporary fur brothers! As you all know Nina came to us beyond emaciated and in very poor health. She does have her quirks about food, but is learning all food is not hers. She has been working on that and she is so smart, and listens so well!!! We would like to have at least one other dog in her new home. She is learning to play and loves having a good time! Laid back dogs would be best. Not ones who are hyper or protective over toys and chewbones.
Nina is good with kids, cats and dogs, but older kids are best. She would do best in a quieter home. She can't be in a home where other pets are free fed, UNLESS there is someone home to monitor otherwise we will have a hundred pound Nina! She weighs 23 lbs now, and we need a family committed to keeping her at that weight, and a family to keep on top of her skin care, which is simple and we can elaborate more on that to any interested adopter. She does have her quirks about men also. She's a little fearful of men at first, but warms up after she knows you won't hurt her. After all she's been through, she is JUST THEE sweetest little dog a person could ever meet!! Loves to sleep under the covers with you at night!
If you are interested in giving Nina a lifetime of love and commitment and would like to learn more about her, please call Jessica Sprague @ 308-539-0277 or message our page for an adopt app. There is a $50 adoption fee and a fenced yard is required. If you are unable to adopt, please share! Thank-you!
