My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky is a wonderful companion dog... he's a big boy at 20 pounds for a Yorkie, more in the Silky category. He came to us from a woman who had been watching him on the street for sometime and fed him. She felt so bad for Rocky... unable to take him in due to her own pets and health complications so she searched for a rescue so Rocky wouldn't be killed on the streets. He was originally FULL of mats... such a tangled mess but with a big heart ready to love. He is the sweetest dog... but has a fear of groomers. After 3 groomers he was finally finished. Rocky is heartworm positive and currently being treated with slow kill method. He is young at around a year old, so he has a lot of life yet to live. Don't let the heartworms fool you... Rocky is worth the time you will put into his care. He is looking a companion who recognizes and can care for his needs in return for a lifetime of love.
