Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Okay, we have to admit it... We've all fallen in love with Coda. Just look at that expression! She was turned in by her owner because she needs a very active home. She is not destructive or a problem without sufficient exercise, she just DESERVES to be herself, which means being very active. She retreived the ring in the park for two hours during a "lay-over" on her way to her foster home. Once in her new foster home, she quickly made best friends with the owner's young, male border collie and they've been playing in the back yard ever since. Until Coda came to play with him, he had never admitted to being worn out. She is crate trained (we call it her house) and she loves it. Although one morning she made it into the human's bed for a snuggle, since the door wasn't latched. She has mastered obedience training through advanced. She not only walks nicely on a loose leash, but even heals (not something many border collies do well). Great house manners and recently learned the dog door. It was funny watching her learn to leave some time after the first dog went through the dog door so that she didn't get bumped on the head. She has had some harsh experiences in the past that have left her sensitive. She is a confident dog and adapts well to new situations, but she is on alert for getting mugged by either dogs or humans. She will flinch if you startle her or a dog bumps into her without notice, but soon recovers.
