This incredibly handsome guy with the gorgeous coat is Blue! He was born in June 2014, is neutered, current on his shots, microchipped, house trained, crate trained and not a fan of the crate. A very friendly guy, he gets along nicely with dogs & kids and is not good with cats.
Blue is still getting to know his Foster Family but is settling in nicely. He's very lovable and enjoys being close to his people, preferring to sleep & take naps near them. He loves attention, especially belly rubs, and his fur is as soft as it is gorgeous! His eyes are one of his best features, they're so beautiful, and when he looks at his Foster Mom with that sweet face & those eyes, it's hard to say say no! He's an easy boy to love and he gives the best kisses, and on command, too!
Full of fun energy and playful, Blue thinks playtime is a must for all dogs! He loves playing with balls & rope toys and has the time of his life playing with his Foster Family's dogs! He enjoys being outside and running around the backyard, wrestling with the dogs and playing with his toys. This goofy boy can jump a 4 foot fence, although he doesn't go anywhere - he sits on the front porch and waits to be let in! So, his Forever Home will need at least a 5ft fence so he doesn't get out. When it's time to relax, Blue likes to hang out with the dogs in the house, even letting one of the younger ones lay on him and use him as her personal pillow! It's adorable & you can't help but laugh when you see her climb on him, lay down and go to sleep! His Foster Family's oldest dog doesn't hang out with the other dogs very much but sometimes he lets Blue share his bed and sit with him at the window to people watch. He's very happy around other dogs and asked us to please make sure his Forever Home has another playful dog so he can have a playmate & companion.
Besides being incredibly handsome and having eyes that will melt your heart, this sweet boy is very smart! He learns quickly and pays attention, even when another dog is teaching him! His Foster Family's dog, George, who they adopted from us, helps their foster dogs out and shows them the tricks of being a dog in a home! He taught Blue how to use the doggie door and he caught on after 3 times! He also knows Sit, Stay & Down, and with the help of peanut butter treats, it will be fun to teach him new commands & tricks! He's also protective of his people and seems to know when someone isn't feeling well, staying close to them. He's a wonderful guy who will be a great addition to any Family!
