Bella initially was a resource guarder (toys, food) and has made some progress with resource guarding and sharing her toys. She is, however, protective of her food - not always, but often enough for me to recommend no small children living with her. When Bella eats, she needs to be left alone. Bella is crate trained and of course is house-broken. ORIGINAL: Bella was in a rural shelter for several months and when her time was up, we were able to rescue her. Bella has had a really hard life and now is enjoying everything she can and learning what it is like to be loved, in her foster home. Foster parents say she loves the kids, as can be seen in her pictures. She is living with 2 other dogs and although she did not know what to make of them at first, she is learning that she and them are part of the family. Bella just needs to be spayed, with will happen the first part of August and at that point she will be ready for her forever home. Bella's adoption fee is $150, which includes all vetting (spay/neuter, all vaccinations including rabies, heartworm test & started on prevention), started on flea/tick prevention and a leash & collar.
