You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Natalie and I am approximately 10 months old and everyone thinks I am a Mountain Cur which I understand is a rare breed. I have had a rough start in life having been hit by a car and needing hip and leg surgery. I am still learning how to use my back legs but my foster mom says that doesn't stop me, I love running in the back yard to the best of my ability with my new best foster friend Bentley. My foster mom says I have a very sweet soul and not one mean bone in my body. I love all my doggie companions in my foster home. I am now housebroken and crate trained. The only time I am in a crate is when my foster mom isn't home and since I am still a puppy, that keeps me out of trouble !!! I sleep with my foster mom at night which I really enjoy. My future ideal home would be to live with a family who has another dog that likes to play, I would want plenty of chew toys, a nice doggie bed to call my own. I would love some kids that would want to play with me as long as they are not younger than 8 years old. I am protective of my one back leg and people around me need to understand they shouldn't pull on it. I would love a family who understands I might not run a marathon with you but are willing to continue giving me the freedom to find my abilities as I continue to run and play and build strength in my back legs. There are no worries about my medical condition, I will not need any other surgeries. When I am old and gray , I could get a touch of arthritis but that is normal for humans too !!!! I will enjoy going on walks with you. You must also want a cuddle buddy because that is who I am , I am very affectionate. I guess I am considered a special needs dog , and again, while I may not be your running partner, I would absolutely be your best friend. 's adoption fee is $175, which includes all vetting (spay/neuter, all vaccinations including rabies, heartworm test & started on prevention), started on flea/tick prevention and a leash & collar.
