My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Shadow and I came into rescue because my favorite Dad in the whole world got sick and unfortunately was heading to the Rainbow Bridge before me and my three brothers.

I'm a very spry eight years old and have the softest fur you will every touch! My foster Mom says it's like running your hands through ribbons of silk. I'm a little timid and it takes a few days for me to warm up to people and situations. Once I do, I'm a fantastic companion and I LOVE belly and ear rubs. I will even make a cute noise to let you know how happy it makes me!

I'm very well-mannered and mind my own business when left at home. I also don't mind being in my crate. I'm a versatile guy!

I've always lived with my brothers and since that is no longer possible I need another dog around the house. Cats are not a good idea though as my prey-drive is just too much.

I really like to play fetch and will bring whatever you throw right back to you for more. I have a tennis ball that squeaks and boy, is that great. I like to ride in the car, too.
