Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blackie, Bear and Beauty are 3 puppies from the same litter. Their mom was a chocolate lab, dad is unknown. Their foster mom says :
The puppies have been around our young children and pets. We also have 2 cats and a bird that they have also been exposed to. They have been exposed to our neighbor's lab a couple of times and they were great with him. The puppies are very sociable around people and not scared of anyone. They are all girls and great with the kids, but we're trying to teach them not to jump when they get excited when seeing us at first.
Blackie is extremely smart and a very quick learner. She would make an excellent Guide or K-9 dog. We were very impressed with their ability to catch on so quick with training. When they jump we tell them to sit and they follow our command. Blackie is a people pleaser and desires the attention of her owner or other people around. They are curious and love tummy rubs and back scratches.
We are teaching them manners so they know how to sit on command. They are puppy pad trained in the area they sleep right now but are still working on their potty training. They are still in the teething phase but not that bad, really. As long as we keep them occupied with a variety of things to chew on then it works out very well. They all play with each other and are energetic when together, but when apart they are much calmer and love to be around people.
We would like them to be placed in a home with someone who has the time to continue training them and will give them lots and lots of love and the attention they need. All 3 puppies are very sweet. Labs are known to be very sociable and extremely friendly dogs. They are each very sweet and loving. Blackie and Bear think they are lap dogs!! We would like them to go to someone who can provide them with the attention, love and time that they need.. If you are interested in learning more about them please contact their foster mom at Shurigiri@yahoo.com or fill out an adoption application online at forgottendogs.org/adoption_application - Thanks!
