Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jeni came to us after nearly starving to death when she was left in a kennel with no food or shelter. It was bitter cold and Jeni weighed 26 lbs. thankfully someone noticed Jeni and got her to us! Jeni now weighs 48 lbs and is loving life! Jeni is around 2 years old and was doing wonderfully in her foster home on house training. Unfortunately Jeni still has 1 battle left to overcome. Jeni tested positive for heart worms. She has had her first treatment and is back at the shelter. Jeni would love to find her forever home now so she can settle in during her treatment. The shelter will continue to cover Jeni's Heartworm treatment until she tests negative. If you have questions about Heartworm treatment or about Jeni please do not hesitate to ask. This girl deserves a chance at a good life! Jeni loves children and does well with male dogs but is not find of all female dogs. She is smart and playful and will make a great pet!
