My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, Patton here. Yes, I'm named after "that" Patton, but I'm not bossy at all. I'm 13 years old and my brother and I were taken to a place called a shelter because our Dad was moving where we could not go. We were really scared there and SO glad that we got out alive! We had to go to separate foster homes because nobody could take both of us.

I'm about 90 pounds and I just love me a comfy couch! It takes me forever to get up there, but I'm determined. I also love to snuggle with my humans on the couch, floor, wherever. At my foster home there are five of them, plus two dogs, two cats and six chickens. I guess it's safe to say I can live with just about anything at this point. I'm curious about the cats, but don't want to hurt them.

I don't bark much, but when I do it isn't as loud as you'd expect for a guy my size. I love to go for walks and have some pep in my step when outside. I'm slow getting around inside, but outdoors is such an exciting place that I can't help myself!

I know how to sit and shake and will do them as often as you want as long as the treats hold out. Like most Weims, I'm an expert counter-surfer. I don't suppose that counts as one of my tricks, does it? I'm housebroken and go to the door when I need to go out.

I'm a mild-mannered guy who would love a quiet home with a comfy couch and people who would take me for short walks for fun.
