My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Duke and I am a nine-year-old blue Weim boy. I came into rescue because my favorite Dad in the whole world got sick and unfortunately was heading to the Rainbow Bridge before me and my three brothers.

I am doing very good in my foster home. I am a very friendly boy and get along with my foster sisters quite well. My son, Aries, is being fostered in the same home. We can be adopted together or separate.

I’m a calm, quiet boy with very good manners. I know basic commands, I like to play with toys, am very good when it comes to trimming my nails and I ride well in a car. I sleep in a crate at night because this is what my foster mom likes and I am doing just fine. I used to sleep in bed with my Dad and the other dogs, so I'm happy go back to that if you like! I can free roam during the day and do not get into trouble. I am house trained, neutered and up to date on all my shots. My first Dad said I like to chase squirrels in the back yard, so I probably would not do good with cats or small creatures.

Seeing as I’ve always been with several other dogs in the house, I must go to a home where there is another furry companion for me. I'm an easy Weim (well, as easy as Weims get) and I'd love to meet you!
