My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kaylei is a gorgeous polydactyl Calico that was born on 4/25/2013. She has been with us all of this time because she has not found someone who thinks her diva personality is for them. Kaylei is a really good girl, but is a diva. She wants what she wants when she wants it. She is not overly needy, but she does like attention. If she gets really good ear scratches, she does drool a bit! She is also just as happy to lounge around and watch the birds from a window, so she is perfect for a working couple! She has all of her claws except her thumb claws. She was born with a disfiguration of one of her thumbs, which caused two nails to grow out of the same thumb. Recently, the other thumb started doing the same thing and it started hurting her, so we had those declawed.

Kaylei would do best with no small children. I would say under seven would be too frightening for her. She is okay with medium energy, but too much fast movement causes her to panic and she starts meowing and panting. It may take her a few days to see that her new home is not so scary, so she does need a warming up period. Anyone who gets her trust absolutely adores her. She will do fine with another cat or two. She does not like being jumped all over, so she will put them in their place if they are extremely playful, though. She has not met dogs, so we are unsure of how that would go. I believe a calmer dog would be just fine.

Kaylei is spayed, up to date on shots, dewormed, ear treated, and flea treated. Her adoption fee is $40.
