Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WALLY IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our adoption application at www.brusselsgriffonrescue.org. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net
Wally is a 6 year old super sweet smooth brussels griffon. He was an owner surrender. Wally came in to rescue very overweight and has been working on dieting and getting his weight down - he was almost 35 lbs. and is now probably down to about 28 lbs. He might even lose another pound or two as he has now become more active and playful – he seems to love his new thinner self!!
Wally is a little shy with new people - he was not well socialized - but he is learning. He thinks butt and chin scratches are the best fun of all. He goes on outings with his foster mom and is a bit nervous - but he is getting better. It takes him a day or so to warm up to new people - but when he does he is worth the wait. Wally loves to snooze someplace comfy - he is a mellow fellow once he is settled in. In his foster home he is hanging around with cats (who he pays no attention to), cranky older doxies (who he doesn’t mind at all) and several Great Danes - his foster mom does Dane rescue. He likes the Danes and plays with one and hangs out with him.

Wally is still working on his housebreaking skills - he needs to be kept on a schedule - especially if it’s raining. He eats good grade kibble to help with his diet. He is crate trained.
Wally is heart worm negative and takes preventative. He is up to date on vaccines and he is microchipped.
Wally is being fostered in Orlando, Fl.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
