Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COOKIE was a street dog being cared for by various neighbors but owned by no-one. She was also a mother when we met her, raising four beautiful pups underneath a shed in a yard in Richmond. We managed to rescue the pups from beneath the structure and COOKIE was pretty happy about it! She was an amazing mom, and her pups grew up to be as sweet and social as she is. This dog never met a person she didn't like and will jump in your lap as soon as she meets you and just love on you.
She is a little bigger than an average chihuahua - about 15 pounds, and tall. She loves hiking, running and playing with her canine pals, and is also just as happy people watching. But she is not a dog to be left home alone. She is far too social for that to be a good thing! She would be a great take to work dog.
We can't work out why COOKIE is still not adopted and we assume it's just that she is one more brown chihuahua type. But take a look at this gal if you're looking for an energetic friendly family dog!
