My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little mix came from a home where there was some careless breeding going on. Too many dogs and pups from different litters is not a good situation unless people understand what they are doing. One of the results is that these dogs have a harder time connecting to people. They are often kept in crates or confined spaces for long periods at a time.

This little guy was surrendered to us from the home along with another dog and it has taken this sweet dog a long time to recover from the lack of social time. But he has turned a corner recently and we are beginning to see just how much he wants to be someone's special dog.

He would probably feel more comfortable with another dog in the home, but with a family who can shower him with love and affection without being too demanding of him, he would also do fine. He still needs to learn to be out in public comfortably, so you'll need to be patient with him. But he's a sweet well meaning dog who will just get better with age.
