My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This happy boy is Skylar.

He's a year old, 65 lb lab/terrier blend who loves everybody and wants to show you with as many kisses he can get in! He would do best with a full-time playmate or two, and dog-savvy cats are ok. He is curious of them and will run with them if they run, but it is only in a playful manor. He's a sweet natured, eager to please boy who learns quickly, especially if treats are involved, and is already great with some basic commands. If he's excited or hasn't had exercise then he needs to be reminded of his manners, but he really wants to be good, so patience and positive reinforcement work wonders. He's doing really well on-leash, but he's really distracted by and interested in birds. He is still young so he has lots of energy to burn so he would make a great running partner.
He is potty trained and as much as we tried to crate train him, he is better to be left free. He hasn't had a lot of experience with children, mostly because he just doesn't know his own strength, but with some guidance he'd be a great family addition.
