Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pretty little Pennie became lost almost two years ago, and doesn’t understand why her owners never came for her. Yes, that means she has been at the shelter, without humans to call her own, since May of 2012. Her health is declining-social animals such as dogs, simply cannot thrive in shelters without becoming depressed. Pennie is only 2 and a half years old, which means she has spent most of her life without a secure home environment.
When the chance arises to go on an outing with a volunteer, Pennie’s spirit soars. She LOVES car rides and walks, and uses her best manners while on a leash. She learns easily, is house trained and sits nicely on command. We believe she would do best in a home with another dog that like to play and romp as much as she does!
Pennie deserves a chance to live in a secure, loving home. Please meet Pennie, and show her that her love and loyalty can be reciprocated.
