Emma is a courtesy post. Emma recently joined a new family 6 weeks ago after previously spending her life with a breeder. Sadly, she does not do well with children and must find a new forever home.

Emma is a spunky 12 year old Havanese. She weighs 14lb. She likes to chew on bully sticks and pigs ears. Her favorite toy is her squeaky fox. She loves to frolic in the powdery snow, but only for a few seconds and then she wants to come inside. She walks well on the leash, even though her first time on a leash was only 6 weeks ago.

She has a few typical senior dog issues, such as ears that need to be cleaned frequently. She also has limited vision due to congenital glaucoma and cataracts. She does not require treatment for her eyes and gets around well.

She is housetrained with a doggy door and has recently learned to be housetrained in a home without a dog door. She is okay with cats but not a huge fan. Emma previously lived in a home with 14 other dogs and was the leader of the pack. She would do great in a multi dog home! She is a very happy girl who loves to play and is content just being in the same room as you.
