Maxie is a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier with a beautiful brindle coat. Maxie longs for a home where she won’t be shuffled around. She was rescued by a young man who was unable to care for her. For the last 4 years his mother has been taking care of her. The mother works a lot and Maxie was lonely by herself and the mother wanted a better life for her. She would spend hours in her favorite chair looking outside through the glass door.
Maxie is now in a foster home with other dogs. She loves to run and play with her best friend Jasper. They will run through the house chasing after balls together. She is enjoying the activity and companionship of other dogs and she would love a home with another dog to keep her company and play with. Maxie is gentle and well behaved. She doesn’t need to be crated when home alone. Maxie is such a beautiful, special girl who deserves the best for the rest of her life.
To help Maxie get acclimated to her new home, the adoption fee includes 1 complimentary training session with the rescue’s trainer.
