My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Marianna, I am two years old and I am looking for a forever home!
I am a very good girl and love people soooooo much there's not even words for it! I didn't have the best start in life. My owners wanted me to help them run dog fights. They wanted to make me a bait dog, and use me to help train their fighting dogs, but I wasn't very good at it. I didn't fight back and I just got scared so they grew frustrated and left me tied to a lamp post outside a grocery store. Turns out that was the best thing they ever could have done for me because someone who worked in a really great vet clinic happened to be doing his grocery shopping that very day! He untied me and took me to the clinic where they checked me out and discovered how loving and hungry to give affection I am! I know a few commands, I'm crate trained and I know that I am supposed to go to the bathroom outside - which I do, every time! I enjoy walks and am discovering the joy of toys. Probably because of my previous life experiences I would like to be an "only pet" as I'm a bit scared of other animals. I hope that's not a problem...after all, it's often nice to have that one devoted friend and family member by your side!
I'm a healthy young girl and can't wait to share my life with that special someone. Hope it's you!
