Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Janet and I am a purebred, sable and white, rough collie. I am around 8-9 years old and I need a forever home with a single lady, I am very frightened of men. I need a quite environment, but I do need other dogs in the household. i am very shy and timid and it takes me a quite a while to trust you and know you are going to love me. My foster gives me kisses and hugs everyday before i go outside with my doggy friends. This has established a trusting relationship. There is no history of my feelings toward cats. I am crate trained, a good rider and house trained, although I prefer to be outside with my friends. I am spayed, current on shots and on heartworm preventive. I am also microchipped. If you are a single lady looking to add a sweet, docile collie to your household and you can give me lots of time to adjust then you can call or text 214-668-5794 to find out exactly the kind of home my foster is looking for me. There is an application at www.dfwcollierescue.org. A home visit and reference checks are part of the adoption process. There is an adoption fee and a small fee to register my microchip. You can get lots of info at www.dfwcollierescue.org.
