Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi Everyone, my name is Eli and I am a purebred, rough collie. I am around 1 1/2 years old according to the vet and I am a great boy. My owner gave me up but gave very little info about me, but I can tell you I am a sweet, sweet boy. I am very loving and will make a great companion. Because I love to play, like any puppy, I need a female doggy companion that likes to play as much as I do. I have gotten along with the other males at my foster home, but a female playmate will be best, I am also good with little dogs. It is not known about my feelings about cats. I am use to a doggy door and do not potty inside, but it is unknown if I am house trained completely. I am neutered, current on shots, and on heartworm preventive. I am a good rider, but I do howl sometimes when in the crate. I walk on a leash but need some practice. You can find an application at www.dfwcollierescue.org. Once you fill it out your references will be checked and a home visit done before approved for adoption. There is an adoption fee and a small fee to register my microchip. You can call or text 214-668-5794 if you have any questions. Check out www,dfwcollierescue.org for lots of info about collies, we are the best breed for families. P.S. My friend in the photo with me is Zane, he is waiting for a forever home too.
