Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bandit ended up in a high volume kill shelter in Quebec when his family moved and decided they were not able to bring him with them. In rescue, we unfortunately hear the "we're moving" reason a lot and our response is normally "Why would you choose to move somewhere that you cannot bring your dog?" In any case, their loss is going to be someone else's gain because Bandit is an extremely well behaved and fantastic little dog!
Bandit was rescued by A.H.A.R.T and brought to Ontario by a group of amazing volunteers that call themselves Freedom Drivers. These volunteers time and time again give animals much needed rides to safety. Bandit was a great little passenger on his 7 hour drive and we heard nothing but good things about him and his manner while on the road.
Don't let the name fool you! Bandit is a cute, well mannered golden fur-ball that is only interested in stealing your heart. He is extremely friendly and happy to meet people. Bandit has a pleasant personality with thoughtful expressions and awareness about what is happening around him. He doesn't get into any trouble when left alone, he doesn't chew on things he's not supposed to, and doesn't knock anything over either.
Bandit would be an amazing dog for any owner from a first time pet owner to an experience owner. Bandit likes to be part of the owners life and participate in activities around the house (or at least keep a observant eye on him). He is a quick learner and will adjust to many routines as well as changes. He isn't pushy with anything and is very quiet. Although he may carry around a bit of extra weight, Bandit loves to be outside and to go for walks. He is a ball-catching superstar and who loves sports and spending time with his human friends. A perfect day for Bandit includes going for a walk or playing ball, then snuggling up for a nap with you on the couch.
If Bandit sounds like he would fit into your family or home please fill out an adoption application for consideration through our website. This dashing gentleman is waiting to hear from his new prospective home!
