My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pearl! This flashy little baby just turned 8 weeks old early February. Born on a working sheep ranch out of true herding parents, Pearl is not only adorable but a real deal BC as well – bright, eager to learn, full of talent and full of energy! Pearl was also born totally deaf, so the ranch was too dangerous a place for her to stay. Pearl has arrived at WBCR to help find her the perfect home. She is very interested in people and is proving to be quite a snuggler! She’s also appropriate with other dogs and has lived peaceably with cats.

Given her background, Pearl will be placed in a Border Collie experienced home only. An adoptive family with deaf dog experience would also be great for Pearl! For more information about living with deaf dogs, visit deafdogs.org

Pearl is up to date on shots and living in a loving foster home in Pocatello, ID. Please note that prospective adopters will have to travel to Idaho to meet Pearl.
