Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luna was surrendered at BARC (city pound) by a family that said they were moving and couldn't take her. She was marked to be killed when we stepped in and saved her.
Little Luna is a short dog, She is approx. 2 yrs old, 40lbs, up-to-date on shots, spayed and has received treatment for low-positive heartworms. It takes some time for the medicine to work. Once adopted, if she needs further heartworm treatments, they will be paid for by us until she tests negative, however, we do not expect her to need more treatments. As part of heartworm treatment she will need to have "limited playtime" until 03/10/15.
Luna is a medium-high energy dog. She is very friendly, playful and VERY smart. She is other-dog-friendly, crate trained and she is quickly learning basic commands. She walks well on leash and loves riding in the car. For Luna, everything is an adventure! Oh and Luna loves to snuggle as well. If allowed, she would love to be a big "lap dog".
There is an adoption application form, a home visit and upon approval, there is a $50 adoption fee.
