My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I am Bear. They call me a Leonberger/Belgian Malnois mix but I feel I am my own dog. I am a good boy but can be stubborn at times. If you don't mind helping me learn the rules in your home, I am happy to learn them. I am 24 months old and I was neutered a while back. I'm still not quite sure what to make of that, but, oh well. It is what it is now.

I am a people dog, I like children and playing with toys or balls is always fun. I have lot of energy and you should have time to play and walk with me. Otherwise I can get funny ideas you might not enjoy as much as I would. I was picked up Downtown LA around Thanksgiving last year by some lovely people while doing some window shopping. They did something called training, I am still not sure about some of that stuff although I have learned what a few of their commands mean, I think. I should probably go back to school for some more of that training thing.

I am also happy to report that I understand already that your home isn't a bathroom. So I will let you know if I need to go outside. I have all my shots and I am a healthy, energetic, playful guy who has been without a real family for too long. If you can make room for me in your family I will do my part and protect your home and the whole family pack, I am a good family member.

A couple of things you need to know. I am not a big fan of cats and other male dogs only work for me if they understand I am the lead dog in the family. Female dogs are better for me but I don't like bossy ones, that's my job. I feel I would be more fun for experienced dog owners as I can be pushy at times.
